Newsletter: Summer + Design Updates

As some of you close to me know, summer is my least favorite time of year. So this time around, I made it a point to make June and July something to look forward to. I have spent a lot of time in the Catskills and new projects have kept me engaged and less slothy in the 100 degree heat. Sorry to say I was a little happy to see Halloween decor out the other day ;)

Earlier in the summer we finished up the primary suite project in Fairmount that you may have seen us post about (more below). We completely changed the layout to make it super functional and even fit in some extras like a wet bar, two custom closets and a soaking tub. The mix of Zellige tiles (a Moroccan art form of handcrafted, glazed terracotta tiles), moody paint, marble, oak cabinetry and antique brass finishes work so well with the original floors we uncovered.... continue here
